The Champagne Launch of Doncasters Best Bar None initiative on 5 th September was a resounding success with over 120 people attending. After listening to presentations from Andy Constantine (top left), Ray Knowles (top centre) and Hulls Chris Tyas (top right), licensees from the Town Centres Pubs, Clubs and Bars received their application packs, this is their first step to becoming accredited under the scheme.
The initiative was well received by all attending:
"I'm very pleased that the Best Bar None scheme is coming to our town. Doncaster has a lot to offer people with its vibrant and entertaining nightlife." said Councillor Stuart Exelby, Cabinet Member for Crime and Public Safety and member of the Doncaster Evening Economy Partnership.
Zoe O'Sullivan, the licensee of Edwards said: "This is a really good initiative. It is important that customers are aware of the work that is being done behind the scenes and that due diligence is being carried out by licensees."
