Challenge 21

The British Beer and Pub Association identified the excellent work being carried out in Doncaster to protect against under age consumption of alcohol and subsequently launched its proof of age ‘Challenge 21’ scheme at the July 2007 Doncaster Pubwatch meeting. All town centre licensed premises actively support the initiative demonstrating their commitment to preventing under age sales of alcohol.

If you are lucky enough to look under 21 then you will be asked to prove that you are over 18.

The only acceptable forms of proof of age are: -

• Photo driving license
• Passport
• Proof of age cards bearing the PASS hologram
